Position Overview

We are looking for a Homecare Sales Consultant to join our winning team. This position will execute the sales process from a partnership and contractual relationship with healthcare organizations with both fee-for-service and value-based care models. The ideal candidate will have experience navigating hospital systems, medical groups, ACOs, IDNs, and payers, building relationships and achieving buy-in among multiple decision-makers, developing and negotiating agreements, and finalizing preferred referral partnerships that increase company’s client numbers.

Essential Job Functions

· Build and maintain senior-level customer relationships through consultative selling and promoting HISfrom a state-wide partnership perspective.

· Identify hospital systems, medical groups, ACOs, IDNs, and payers for outreach and rank order for priority engagements

· Execute sales process driven by “top-down” strategy; document all phases of sales process, including preparation, successes, diagnosis and recommendation results; manage the sales process through completion for preferred partnerships.

· Analyze customer requirements, develop solutions to complex problems, and communicate a clear vision to customers and prospects

· Negotiate multi-year service contracts and/or qualified referral partnerships with hospital systems, large physician groups, and other healthcare organizations

· Track and report all sales activity on a weekly basis to leadership committee

· Develop 12-month strategic plan to:

1. Establish plan to execute introductions and meetings

2. Through detailed discussions, understand challenges and needs of healthcare organizations

3. Develop relationships with senior management and create trust

4. Create pilot programs with healthcare organizations to gather data and provide value to home care

5. Negotiate referral partnerships or contracts

· Manage to weekly, monthly activities, metrics and priority healthcare organizations

· Report activity and metrics to the leadership committee on a weekly basis

· Maintain and update knowledge on all new trends in the senior care and home care industry and participate in various professional meetings for same

· Communicate and coordinate effectively with company leadership, committed to ensuring contractual requirements and commitments are fulfilled

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required. A minimum of 4 years of proven sales experience working in healthcare or a senior care company. Experience selling within an enterprise healthcare market (health systems, ACOs, IDNs and payers) is preferred. Flexibility for frequent travel throughout the state is required.

· Experience with selling both value-based and fee-for-service value propositions in healthcare

· Executive presence, strong business acumen and analytical abilities

· Excellent account management and project management skills

· Client and business plan management proficiency; developing proposals and presentations to leadership team presenting results of new strategies.

· Proven track record of success managing the sales process and developing strategic roadmaps to align customer needs, issues and opportunities with industry best practices and solution offerings

· Ability to identify business opportunities where HISC can increase our footprint and identify potential partnerships to enhance and open new markets

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including an ability to establish credibility and trust with prospects and with leadership committee

· Capable of working effectively in a team setting, as well as independently with minimal supervision

· The ability to build internal and external relationships

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
